Acadian Chamber Players have been performing in Maine since 1993. Pictured

A
graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, where he studied with Erich
Friedman, violinist Jeffrey Ellenberger has performed as a classical
soloist and orchestral musician in the USA, Europe and Asia. A conducting
student of David Gilbert, he plays with the Philharmonic Orchestra of New
Jersey, Stamford Symphony, Philharmonia Virtuosi and Acadian Chamber
Players. In the field of
popular music he has worked with Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Diana
Ross. He plays regularly on Broadway, in shows such as Les
Miserables
and Beauty
and the Beast.
Mr. Ellenberger also plays the viola. He has been the concertmaster of the Bar Harbor Music Festival for over two decades; he is a coach for the Inter Schools Orchestra. Currently, he teaches privately in Manhattan and coaches string ensembles.
